Graham Craker Crust with variations
- 2 cups graham crackers, crushed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine all ingredients, adding the butter slowly to make sure it does not get too wet. You just want it to stay together when pinched between your fingers.
Press in sprayed pan and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. If making mini desserts only bake 6 minutes.
* Do not substitute the butter, margarine will leave a greasy layer, yuck!
** Add in 1/2 cup almond flour, pecan flour, or hazelnut flour
(nut flours are just ground nuts, really fine. I use my food processor)
*** Add zest or flavored extrats
**** Add coconut, or other crushed cookies.
